We are a small, established software company in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Our clients mainly use our software and services to run applications written for the p-System. The p-System is a character-based operating system popular in the mid-80's and only being surpassed in stability and power in about the last 5-6 years, mainly by Windows. The OS and all its applications are written in Pascal and compiled into p-Code, and we support our customers' applications even as they evolve today. Some of the programs which run under our version of the p-System have been unchanged in binary form for 17 years!

The patent which is the principal subject of this website is the result of an idea we had almost 10 years ago. Unfortunately, to compete or do business with the likes of Microsoft was impossible without a patent in hand (at least according to their execs!) - and it was not until 1997 that the US Patent was finally granted. Meanwhile we trademarked the name Microtopia for the important task of promulgating our invention.

Our work centres around operating systems, interpreters (for p-Code), drivers, compilers and other development tools. We are fully Y2K compliant with our latest software.
